Anak Kecil

Aku diam dalam masjid memerhatikan anak2 brothers yg mengikuti Islamic Sunday School di Masjid Lafayette. Seronok, innocent, no problem at all. Macam2 kerenah mereka, yg lelaki berlari sana-sini, berlawan tunjuk siapa kuat. Yg perempuan sembang2, menggayakan fesyen itu dan ini.

Dalam diam aku terfikir, ada sesuatu yg unik dalam anak2 brothers ni, especially yg Arab. Not that I’m ta’sub of them, but there are really something in the way they treat and raise their kids. Anak2 Arab ni petah bercakap, eventhough I don’t understand what they are saying, tapi common sense tells me that they are talkative. They are also berani berdialog dgn ‘ammu (pakcik2) lain, depa mengupdate ‘ammu tadi dgn apa2 cerita yg berlaku kepada mereka. Nampak kematangan dalam mereka, relatively I mean.

Maybe I’m overgeneralising, but still, we can cherish some lessons from this observation. Among them are pembentukan peribadi starts very early, as early as in our mother’s womb. Anak2 perlu dilayan sbg anak. Good leaders and amazing people are brought up in a dignified manner, they are psychologically, mentally, spiritually and physically sound, mantap. Parents should have a clear vision and an action plan on what their children will become and how. Sedih melihat parents yg hilang punca, tak memimpin tangan anak2 meraka utk melalui hidup yg penuh cabaran ini.

I’m just throwing out this, trying to be brief. Orang tak baca post panjang2.

Teringat Usamah b Zaid, masa 17 thn  Abu Bakar lantik die jadi panglima perang. Hoho…unimaginable. 17 thn kita masih lagi terawang2 di dunia sendiri. Bagaimana peribadi macam ini bleh ada? Something must happen along the way when he grew up.
